Frank.brunetta@beaconpartnersinc.com. Frank Brunetta has both principal and strategy consulting experience, with particular focus in the technology sector. He was founder of NYGene Corporation, which manufactured bioseparation devices and instrumentation for the biotechnology industry. He served as strategist for corporate diversification, mergers, and divestitures for IBM Corporation, W. R. Grace & Co., and the Olin Corporation. His long experience in venture capital includes managing the US venture capital arm of a major European merchant bank, Compagnie Bruxelles Lambert. Earlier he served as assistant to the chairman of the board of PepsiCo, and as a consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc. His functional experience has included fund raising for startups; management of scientific, sales and financial personnel; and corporate diversification. He has had responsibility for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and for venture capital and pension fund investments. Mr. Brunetta has served as director of Prime Computer, Inc., Gtech Corporation [NYSE: GTK], Storage Technology, Inc. [NYSE: STK], and Larsen Industries, Inc. Mr. Brunetta holds an MS in business administration from Columbia University, an MS in chemistry from the University of Michigan, and a BS in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
