Employee buyoutFebruary 13, 2005 Task: Phase One was to assist minority shareholders in the company to gain control of the failing firm before it either went out of business or had to be liquidated. Deliverables: Joined two of the original minority shareholders and raised a small amount of capital to infuse in the company in order for it to stay alive. Negotiated with existing management and controlling shareholders to take over their controlling stock position and to replace them as the management team. Invested some of own capital in this turnaround undertaking.
Helped refocus company in the business learning area including recruiting and infusing new management. The capital structure of the company was completely realigned without filing for bankruptcy. The company went through a public company delisting and now a relisting of its stock.
